We offer a range of fun and engaging on-site activities to enhance your students’ personal development and build team spirit, from Archery and Volleyball to problem-solving exercises and team challenges.
We’ve been providing French Château school trips for over 30 years and our on-site Travelbound team is highly experienced in understanding what school groups and their party leaders want and expect.
Wanting to provide the perfect base for school groups visiting Normandy, Travelbound purchased the Chateau du Molay in 1993. This is a private estate owned by us and exclusive to Travelbound groups.
Travelbound is a full member of the School Travel Forum and an accredited LOtC Quality Badge holder. Everything at the Château has been designed to ensure the complete safety of your students during their stay.

The Château du Molay accommodation is geared towards school groups and built with safety and comfort in mind for both students and teachers.
Our facilities are well-equipped, offering pleasant bedrooms, a large restaurant and a teachers’ bar, a games room and even a heated swimming pool for the summer days.
Local excursions
Only a short drive from the Château, your students will have many opportunities to discover French culture and explore landmarks and museums.
Less than a 30-minute drive from Bayeux and the main landing beaches, and with plenty of exciting excursions close-by, this is the ideal base for a school trip to Normandy.
