Wanting to provide the perfect base for school groups visiting Normandy, Travelbound purchased the Chateau du Molay in 1993. This is a private estate owned by us and exclusive to Travelbound groups.

On-site activities

We have an exciting programme of adventure and team-building activities available for your group during their free time at the Château.

From archery to volleyball, problem-solving and team challenges, our on-site activities cover a wide range of subject areas to help your students with education & personal development.

Facilities

The Château du Molay accommodation is geared towards school groups and built with safety and comfort in mind for both students and teachers. 

Our facilities are well-equipped, offering pleasant bedrooms, a large restaurant and a teachers’ bar, a games room and even a heated swimming pool for the summer days.

Local excursions

Only a short drive from the Château, your students will have many opportunities to discover French culture and explore landmarks and museums.

Less than a 30-minute drive from Bayeux and the main landing beaches, and with plenty of exciting excursions close-by, this is the ideal base for a school trip to Normandy.
